Professor Chike F. Edozien is the Clinical Associate Professor and Director, Reporting Africa at the NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.  Professor Edozien’s book “Lives of Great Men” renders a mix of memoir and reportage and focuses on the contemporary lives of African gay men and women. It will also deal with the crisis of some of these men who come to New York to seek asylum. This reading at NYU Africa House will follow its prior launching by the UK based publisher Team Angelica Books in London.  Beginning with the book reading, attendees will have the opportunity to speak to the author at a post-reading reception and book signing. The “Lives of Great Men” book reading is sponsored by NYU Africa House.
