About NYU African Heritage Month (AHM):

African Heritage Month is a student-led organization that seeks to unite, uplift and celebrate Africans and members of the African Diaspora during Black History Month. AHM’s mission is to achieve unity and collaboration within the African diaspora through a willingness to see past differences, help those around, and strive for prosperity, accord, and understanding. African Heritage Month brings the NYU Community together in celebration of Africa and the diaspora.

AHM plans and sponsors events throughout the month of February in conjunction with various organizations.
